Dan'l Mackey Almy's passion for fresh produce marketing has paved the way of her dynamic career in the fresh produce industry for over 15 years. In 2004, she founded DMA Solutions, Inc., a creative marketing group that has helped to bolster the image of fresh produce by connecting producers and consumers, and helping to differentiate fresh produce in an increasingly competitive marketplace. The DMA team have a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and personalities, but they all share a common commitment to quality, creativity and passion for fresh produce.

Prior to establishing DMA Solutions, Dan'l held the position of Vice President at Fresh Del Monte Produce, overseeing the Wal-Mart & Sam's business for North America. In this role, she managed a team comprised of integral business functions including continuous inventory replenishment, business analysis, and commodity management. Dan’l discovered her calling to the fresh produce industry at a young age through involvement in the local 4-H club. It was during her studies in Agricultural Business as an undergraduate at Texas A&M University when she became intrigued by marketing agricultural products. Armed with passion and persistence, Dan'l started her career in 1995 for the fresh produce industry with Standard Fruit & Vegetable, where she held several leadership roles including director of marketing. In this role, Dan’l was accountable for all marketing initiatives, including the development and execution of a corporate marketing plan. In the areas of packaging and product development, she launched over 25 new products for both Retail and Foodservice customers.

Today Dan'l plays an active role in the produce industry by speaking and participating in many industry events. She also serves as Chairman of the United Fresh Produce Association Nutrition & Health Council, as member of the Board of Directors and as co-chair of the United Fresh 2012 Host Committee. Additionally, she serves on the Produce Marketing Association’s Foundation for Industry Talent Campaign Committee and the YottaMark, Inc. Advisory Board.
