5 Super Bowl LII Ads We’re Excited to See

While we were hoping for a Cowboys game (always!), the DMA team is still giddy about the upcoming Super Bowl because we love to see and follow all the amazing marketing at work! This year we’re hoping for a variety of clever, funny, and thought provoking commercials to inspire our own marketing endeavors. We couldn’t help but take some sneak peeks at what’s to come this year, so read on for a few teasers to watch out for on the night of the big game.

Our Super Bowl Ad Teasers

Pepsi

We saw the nostalgia trend emerging all last year throughout various advertisements and we’re seeing it again for this year’s Super Bowl. Pepsi is recreating their iconic Cindy Crawford ad from 1992 to let audiences take a trip down memory lane. This is just one of the nostalgic ads Pepsi has in place for the year as it kicks off their “Pepsi Generations” campaign.

Skittles

Skittles is taking an alternative approach to their Super Bowl advertising this year by creating an “exclusive” commercial that will only be shown to one person. This unique approach is still creating quite the buzz without an actual TV spot  for the brand while also saving them a nice chunk of change.

Kraft

Get your tissues ready, Kraft is ready to make you feel all the feels this Super Bowl. They’ve mentioned that their 2018 Super Bowl Ad will be aligned with their #FamilyGreatly campaign which began late last year. This is a huge move in the direction of creating emotional content and interacting with audiences on a more personal level.

Avocados from Mexico

We’re beyond excited to see fresh produce continuing a breakthrough in the Super Bowl world with Avocados From Mexico’s fourth year in a row partaking in the big game’s advertisements. While we don’t know exactly what they have up their sleeve this year, if they continue with their humor streak, we know it’s going to be good!

Stella Artois

While Stella Artois took a break advertising during the big game over the past few years, they are back with a campaign ready to make the world a better place. They are teaming up with Water.org to reach a goal of supplying clean water to 1 million people for 5 years when audiences buy a Stella Artois chalice. We have no doubt that people will jump at the chance to make this purchase knowing that they are standing for something so important.
