Tour de Fresh Approaches Half a Million Dollars Raised for Salad Bars [PHOTOS]

tdf_share_the_road.pngThanks to a record-setting 2016 Signature Event last week in northern California, the Tour de Fresh in its third year has raised almost half a million dollars for the United Fresh Start Foundation and the  Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools campaign.  Fifty-seven riders, 40 sponsoring companies, and 15 support crew members ensured that this year’s 200-mile ride from Napa to Monterey, California, would be the best yet – and it was!

Fundraising was at an all-time high with almost $161,000 collected to date.  Donations are still being accepted at www.tourdefresh.com/riders which will remain open until the $175,000 goal is met. Team camaraderie also reached unprecedented levels as exemplified by the collection of photos below that highlight a very small portion of the fun that was had by all throughout the Tour.
