Dan’l Mackey Almy’s passion for fresh produce marketing has captivated the attention of the fresh produce industry for more than 25 years. Her ability to motivate creativity and inspire results-driven strategy has led to the success of DMA Solutions, Inc. Dan’l’s vision for how marketing could be elevated in order to progress the fresh produce industry led her to start DMA Solutions in 2004. Since then, she has brought together a diverse team of innovative, strategic, and passionate marketers who share a common purpose for transforming a once commodity-centric industry by building stronger brands that are trusted and desired.
Dan’l has helped pioneer the way in which fresh produce brands approach digital marketing, social media, and public relations. Her commitment to measuring success beyond the “marketing standard” is what sets DMA Solutions, Inc. apart from other agencies. While passionate about marketing, Dan’l is also empathetic to the challenges of the industry’s dependence on sales, based on her experience as a sales executive at Standard Fruit and Vegetable and Del Monte Fresh. Because of this, DMA Solutions, Inc.’s clients appreciate that the agency invests in everything that they ask their clients to support – from inbound marketing software to sponsorships, association memberships, and foundation contributions. If Dan’l recommends a client to invest in a marketing strategy, you can bet she’s already tested it with her own agency to prove its relevance and success.
Dan’l’s leadership in “fresh” is visible in both her professional and personal life. In 2014, Dan’l, her husband Andrew, and the DMA Solutions, Inc. team founded Aggies for Fresh – a campaign created to recruit students from Texas A&M University into the fresh produce industry. She and the DMA Solutions team have supported Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools since its inception and are dedicated to supporting the Tour de Fresh campaign alongside California Giant Foundation, which has donated more than 170 salad bars to schools across the country since 2014.
Dan'l lives in Dallas with husband Drew, daughter Mackey Payton (she attends NYU, but Texas is home), and dog Shelby Rae.
