Office Eats: Sweet and Salty Fall Popcorn

‘Tis the season for developing delicious snack foods that are easily liked by friends, family and in this instance, co-workers that are looking for a delicious fall treat. Take this versatile and delicious popcorn recipe that is as easy to make as it is to carry to your upcoming tailgate or office happy hour. In our opinion, the Medjool dates are the hero of the recipe. Their sweetness is complimentary to the saltiness of the bacon, the popcorn, the nuts and the cheese, which makes them the perfect sweet and nutrient packed ingredient to add to this fall flavor explosion. Sweet and Salty Fall Popcorn

2 bags microwave popped Kettle Corn
3 slices of Turkey bacon cooked in microwave for 2 minutes
4 pitted Natural Delights Medjool dates sliced from a frozen state
1 cup of mixed nuts toasted
1 cup of CB’s Nuts organic Pumpkin Seeds toasted
¼ cup of melted butter
3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

To get this party started, combine the popped popcorn, cooked bacon, date slices, toasted nuts and pumpkin seeds in a large bowl. Drizzle mixture with half the butter. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Toss and repeat. Serve warm and enjoy!
