Three Things You Need to Do Before Global Show
We’re closing in on what is arguably the biggest networking and learning opportunity the fresh produce industry has to offer. In less than 30 days, we’ll gather in Anaheim to showcase our products and highlight our services to target audiences.
If you’re a marketer, you are likely in the thick of finalizing details and making sure everything goes off without a hitch. After attending 19 of this very event, here are the THREE things I recommend you tidy up before you go:
-
- Schedule Your Team – Instead of winging it, make sure you have a booth worker calendar so your team is both eager to work the booth and see the sights and taste the food available on the show floor. This not only keeps you organized and staffed when you need it, this also expands the viewpoints of your team to expand and bring home thoughts around your own business based on experiences obtained from the show floor.
- Promote Your Presence – Only in the movies does the term “build it and they will come” truly make a real impact. Before the IFPA Global Show, be sure to make arrangements for meetings with your key customers and prospective leads to the booth or dinner to talk shop. This is why they’re attending so do not be bashful about inviting people to meet!
- Define Your Goals – Keep them as high level or specific as you’d like, but dear marketer, now is your chance to meet with a sales executive at your company to inquire about “what we hope to gain from investing in and attending” Global Show. Write down responses and be sure to clearly explain your tradeshow marketing and sales goals to the attending team with the support of your executive leadership.
At this point, you can still get some last-minute designs in place for booth materials that may need to be showcased. Our team can help you with this or any of the above! Please let us know how we can help and if we don’t hear from you, we’ll certainly see you in Anaheim!
