With such colorful personalities and a passion for philanthropy here at DMA and The Core, it’s no wonder that we were intrigued by The Color Run. Benefiting the American Heart Association during February’s National Heart Month, The Color Run is a 5K event that encourages participants of all athletic abilities to rev up their hearts and get in touch with their inner color lover. This past Sunday, all runners approached the start line looking like a brand new coloring book, but after five zones of getting blitzed with colored starch, we crossed the finish line looking like we paid a reckless visit to the Crayola factory.
Featuring our friend, Lisa Moser, and new DMA designer, Molly McGrath, here’s a quick documentary of the color madness …

Each participant was given a color packet and told to save it for the post-race party.

Holding onto our personal color pouches, we ran through “Color Rad Zones” to layer on the color. Purple was awesome!

Of course the run wouldn’t be complete without a few color fights for good measure…

We were thankful that no one was injured …

So, we celebrated with a color fest!

The best part? Color runners were able to support a great organization, The American Heart Association!
