For over five years now, we have been fully engaged with numerous activities that assist our clients in making meaningful connections with consumers in the digital space. As fresh produce marketing pioneers in this space, we quickly realized the need for quick, affordable and relevant recipe content that was digitally optimized.
Enter Chef Adam Glick. This young and hungry chef has been creating recipes for DMA Solutions and our clients in an effort to make their companies, their products and their product’s applications relevant, available digitally and inspirational for consumers ever since.
Today, we are happy to announce that Chef Glick is not only a rockstar chef in our minds, but will soon be a competitor on a new show premiering on Food Network this coming weekend!
On Sunday, September 15, 2013 DMA’s partner in fresh cooking, Chef Glick, is set to appear on Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen.
This young, extreme chef/fisherman/photographer's day job is to create and serve exquisite fresh food onboard luxury yachts while also crafting recipes for DMA’s fresh produce industry clients, and you can watch him on the Food Network on September 15 at 10pm/9CDT.
Why we love Adam?
From a culinary perspective, Chef Glick chooses #Fresh, plain and simple. He’s inspired by the products that our industry grows and using his keen senses, is able to produce unique, delicious and nutritious (most of the time) recipes. He’s nimble and fun to work with, which makes him our “go to guy” for new recipe development.
Chef Glick gets it. Period. He understands the hard work and dedication that goes into growing and bringing fresh products to market, which is why he treats each fresh ingredient on his cutting board with respect allowing it to speak for itself from a flavor and color perspective in any given dish. In fact, while he’s at sea, Chef Glick is proficient at catching and foraging for the ingredients that he uses to make the next meal on-board. Bingo!
Why you’ll love Adam?
Chef Glick is adventurous, competitive and super entertaining – which is why we were thrilled but not surprised when he announced that he would compete on the premier episode of Cutthroat Kitchen. And while Adam likes to have fun while he’s working, he’s serious when it comes to producing artful plates that impress and dishes that tempt the taste buds. We simply can’t wait to see and hear your feedback on Chef’s performance!
From a marketing perspective, he understands the difference and complexities between creating a recipe for a culinary whiz versus a working mom of two needing to put food on the table – fast! Nevermind the fact that Adam is socially connected! Check him out and see visuals of his “day job” unfold on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram (@chefglick).
We’re so proud of you, Adam, and wish you the best of luck on Sunday! Bring one home for the #freshproduce industry. We’ll be cheering for you, buddy!
