10 Things We’re Thankful for as Marketers

‘Tis the season of giving thanks and we’re feeling EXTRA thankful this year. Why? Working in marketing, we have come to appreciate the little things that make doing our job more efficient and better for the clients we serve. Here are 10 things, big and small, that make us geek out about marketing fresh produce.

10 Things to Appreciate about Marketing Fresh Produce

1. Beautiful Photography

Working in the fresh produce industry, we LOVE seeing beautiful photography of all the colorful fruits and veggies we are marketing. Whether that is on a newly designed website, our Instagram feed or in a trade show booth at Fresh Summit, our eyes and marketing brains really appreciate these works of art. Here are some quick tips on how you can produce those beautiful photos.

2. Trade shows

Not only do we like trade shows for the face to face with clients and colleagues, but we love to see what new and innovative products are in the fresh produce space. Being a niche agency serving one industry, you get to know a whole lot of people personally, making connections that will last a lifetime.

3. Influencer Marketing

Using influencer marketing is something we strongly recommend for many brands, as consumers can more easily relate to someone who is the “face” of a brand. We are so thankful for all the partnerships we have who have the same mission as us – inspiring more demand of fruits and veggies!

4. Inbound Marketing

If you know DMA, you know we love Inbound Marketing, so it is no surprise this made the list of things we are thankful for this year! This methodology EARNS permission from your audiences and then allows you to delight them with more!

5. Consistent Branding

A memorable brand is a consistent one. That is why we are thankful for brands that have their ducks all in a row. A brand identity guide is the best way to make sure you are being consistent across all touchpoints.

6. Analytics

One of the most important aspects of marketing is using the analytics to understand behaviors on your digital assets to further engage audiences with what they want to hear from you and elevate your brand.

7. Facebook Lead Ads

Facebook, we thank you for lead ads. Lead advertising allows you to easily collect information from your Facebook community in order to convert them into new contacts in your database, reaching audiences you didn’t think you could even reach!

8. Webinars

You are never too old to learn – which is why we are thankful for webinars! With just a quick google search, we find interesting and informative webinars to educate ourselves on marketing. The best part? They are usually FREE!

9. Blogging

Not only is blogging an easy way to get your brands’ content out there and help with your SEO, but it also allows you to be creative with your brand and give it a “voice”. This helps your audiences connect with you on a deeper level, which in turn helps to generate sales!

10. Amazing Clients

We had to end this list with what we are MOST thankful for – our amazing clients! Without you, your drive to increase demand and consumption of fresh produce and your belief in what marketing can do for your brand, we wouldn’t be here!

So what are you thankful for this holiday season?
